Somewhere between childhood and adult life something strange happened: we started using the body mainly to carry the head from one place to another. Twerk proposes a small detour. A bit of play, a bit of spice, and a surprisingly serious way to work the muscles, mobility and posture.
In the first three weeks we take twerk apart down to its real mechanics: posture, pelvis, spine, weight transfer, isolations, control, rhythm. In the next three we add coordination, variations, transitions and combinations. You stop executing. You dance.
